WebI attended Discovery ranch in 2016-2024, and only recently discovered this forum. I didnt realize that their behavior was abusive until years after, and am still processing through a whole lotta shit. In short, their brutal enforcement of rules made me terrified of "misbehaving" and I became totally disconnected from my actual emotions. WebDiscovery Ranch uses a combination of traditional therapy, hard work through chores, and experiential therapy to build that confidence. Our recreational activities allow our boys to have the chance to relax and be a kid again.
