The choo choo (railway rifle) is a lot of fun. A Quad is almost mandatory for a commando build being full auto. Plasma rifle are fun too. Enclave plasma if you like the grind of finding 1 you like because you can't learn the mods. Otherwise keep scrapping every weapons you find. You'll notice there's TONS of mods for most weapons.
